About Me

I have had a lifelong interest in attachment theory, child and human development, and the science of emotions. I hold a Master's degree in counselling psychology along with several advanced trainings in infant and maternal mental health. I have spent close to 30 years working with early learning centres and social service agencies. Most recently, I oversaw a regionally funded parenting centre supporting a diverse population of young families. One of my deepest joys has been delivering individual counselling and group courses designed to help move parents forward and experience more ease. I am dedicated to advocating for the health and wellness of children by supporting the adults who care for them.

I am a first generation Canadian, born to eastern European parents who immigrated while pregnant with me. They each brought to parenting their own traumatic histories which left an indelible mark on my older siblings and myself. Through my own journey of therapy, recovery and resilience, I have been able to heal and grow. This has allowed me to discover my
deepest passion, purpose and calling....
working with parents and families.

I was raised in Toronto, Ontario where I continue to live. I enjoy spending nourishing time with friends and family, especially my three grown children who share my love of spontaneous road trips to small towns with great indie coffee shops.

I will always encourage you to take an active role in your healing journey, and would feel honoured to work with you.
